Explore pre-contact America and the cultures that inhabited the land where New Harmony stands today with New Harmony Site Manager Kelley Morgan. Learn about the science of archaeology and the theories of how North America was settled and utilized by the First Nations peoples that shaped the landscape at New Harmony. Following the discussion, we’ll walk to the Harmonist Cemetery and view the pre-contact ceremonial earthworks that lie within and examine how the Harmonist settlers impacted the area.
