Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites

10 a.m.-5 p.m.:
Indiana’s top artists are heading to T.C. Steele State Historic Site! Watch the artists at work as they paint Selma’s garden. Admission is free on this day in honor of Juneteenth.

5:30-8 p.m.:
Visitors can enjoy a ticketed reception (see ticket link below) featuring food, wine and self-guided tours of the gardens and House of the Singing Winds, as well as a wet paint art sale in Steele’s large studio. This year’s reception kicks off with a panel discussion by artists C.W. Mundy and Rita Spalding highlighting their artist residencies at T.C. Steele State Historic Site. Spalding is the first artist since T.C. Steele to paint indoors in the House of the Singing Winds. Check out her display inside the historic home.
