Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites

The 19th century saw the way people moved from place to place change drastically, going from sailboats and buggies to the cusp of taking flight. Students will engage in lessons, crafts and games as they discover the horses and buggies of the early Whitewater Valley, the canal boats this region’s people longed for and the railroads that replaced them both. Choose from the 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. sessions below. Recommended for ages 7-11.
