Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites

Whenever groups of people gather, from Greek academies to medieval castles to lumberjack camps, there are storytellers. Canal sites, usually populated with German and Irish immigrants carrying stories to their new country, were no exception. Students will discover and do activities based on those legends and tall tales. Choose from the 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. sessions below. Recommended for ages 7-11.
