39th annual Wildflower Foray
Experience nature and flowers through many hikes and a variety of programs during this three-day (April 26-28), cooperative event throughout Brown County. Celebrate natural history and learn about environmental concerns relating to the area while venturing out on wildflower and birding walks, taking a wetland hike, exploring nature photography and so much more.
Hikes and programs are held at T.C. Steele State Historic Site on established trails and on other nearby natural areas including DNR properties, Hoosier National Forest, Indiana University, Sycamore Land Trust and Nature Conservancy lands.
Price: Free; site admission is required for historic building tours; some locations may have gate fees.
Pre-registration is required for some Wildflower Foray activities and all hikes are rain or shine but may be cancelled due to severe weather. A complete schedule of hikes and programs is available through the Indiana DNR website.
