36th Great Outdoor Art Contest
It’s the 36th year of the Great Outdoor Art Contest! Register to compete in the oldest plein air painting contest in Indiana with early-bird rates beginning Aug. 1. Regular registration rates begin Sept. 1. Day-of registration available.
Gates open at 7 a.m. for artists to bring their blank pages and canvases to be stamped in the site classroom, then it’s off to work. Artwork is judged at 2 p.m. and awards will be announced beginning at 3:30p.m.
The Great Outdoor Art Contest is part of Brown County Art Colony Weekend, Sept. 13-15, 2024.
Artist Early bird registration (Aug. 1-31)
$15/adult, $10/youth; 25% discount for members
Artist Open registration (Sept. 1-14)
$20/adult, $15/youth; 25% discount for members
Admission to GOAC
$5/person
Site admission additional for historic building tours ($11/adult; $9/senior; $6/youth)
