35th Great Outdoor Art Contest
The oldest plein air painting competition in Indiana celebrates its 35th year! Gates open at 7 a.m. to artists bringing their blank pages and canvases in to be stamped at the site classroom before heading outdoors to paint. Artwork is judged at 2 p.m. and awards announced starting at 3:30 p.m. Register online through our website, by mail or by calling the site. Day-of registration available. The Great Outdoor Art Contest is part of Brown County Art Colony Weekend happening from Sept. 8-10.
Early bird registration (Aug. 1 – 31)
$15/adult; $10/youth (ages 3-17), 25% off discount for members
Regular registration (Sept. 1 – 9)
