Steele’s Country Christmas returns to T.C. Steele State Historic Site
NASHVILLE, Ind. (Nov. 1, 2019) – Holiday magic will return to T.C. Steele State Historic Site with their annual event, Steele’s Country Christmas, on Dec. 8.
WHAT: Celebrate the holidays with this special event, featuring cookies, mulled cider, crafts and holiday music during this annual celebration of St. Nicholas Day. Attendees can tour T.C. Steele’s home all decked out for the holidays, as well as see real artwork from Steele in his Large Studio.
St. Nicholas and Belsnickel will be on site from 1 to 3 p.m. to take photos with visitors. Attendees are also invited to stop by the Little Studio for a “scherenschnitte” – or intricate paper cutting – demonstration by visiting artist Dale Cochran, and can check out a display of his hand-cut paper Christmas cards from 1 to 4 p.m.
