State Museum to close for private event June 12

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Museum will be closed to visitors on Monday, June 12 for a private event. The closure includes all public spaces, galleries and exhibits, the Farmers Market Café, L.S. Ayres Tea Room™ and the Indiana Store. The one summer camp underway that day will be held as planned in the Education Center. The IMAX Theater will run on its normal operating schedule.
The museum will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, June 13.
The museum also welcomes visitors to come out for Canal Nights on Wednesday, June 14. The free, family-friendly event takes place every Wednesday in June and July, and offers games, art and plenty of fun for all ages!

HOURS AND LOCATION
The Indiana State Museum is located at 650 W. Washington Street in Indianapolis. Exhibition gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
