Murder mystery dinner to be held at New Harmony State Historic Site

NEW HARMONY, Indiana (Oct. 9, 2019) – On Oct. 19, see if you can figure out ‘who-done-it’ during the Murder Under the Big Top murder mystery dinner at New Harmony State Historic Site’s Community House No. 2.

WHAT: Get ready for a killer time and become a character in this circus-themed murder mystery dinner.

In attempts to make his circus stand out from the others, ringmaster Clyde Brown creates show-stopping attractions, fostering rivalries that extend beyond the center ring. As the pressure to be the best builds, a murder steals the show. But is the murderer the raging ringmaster? Or, maybe it’s a talented tight-rope walker? Perhaps it’s a possessive performer! Can you discover the killer before the final act?

A full-course meal featuring a barbeque chicken dinner with sides, a drink and cotton candy is included with ticket purchase. Attendees are encouraged to dress up, and some props will be available during the event.

Tickets are $25/members and $30/non-members, and can be purchased online at indianamuseum.org or by calling (812) 682-3702. Reservations are required by Oct. 16.

WHEN: 7 to 10 p.m., Oct. 19

WHERE: Community House No. 2, 410 N. Main St., New Harmony
