GENEVA, Ind. – The public is invited to the Loblolly Marsh Nature Preserve on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. to enjoy the beauty of fall wildflowers and learn about the creatures that roam Limberlost as the sun goes down. The Twilight Adventure will begin at the Loblolly Marsh Nature Preserve parking lot, located at 8323 N. 250W, which is a half mile north of Highway 18 on county road 250W, 3.5 miles west of Bryant, Ind.

Limberlost State Historic Site naturalists will lead the twilight hike and when the sun sets, participants will gather at the Loblolly Pavilion. Families are encouraged to attend to watch a wildlife program, reach into “mystery boxes” to see if they can guess what’s inside, try out bionic ears, test night vision equipment, make crafts and roast marshmallows.

The program is $4 per adult, $3 per child.

Limberlost State Historic Site in Adams County and the Loblolly Marsh Wetland Preserve in Jay County are located near Geneva in northeastern Indiana. Part of the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites, Limberlost admission is free for Indiana State Museum and Historic Site members. General admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $3 for children. The historic site is located at 200 E. 6th Street in Geneva, Ind., just off U.S. Highway 27.
