INDIANAPOLIS (Monday, Dec. 4, 2017) – The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites has named Hannah Kiefer the director of communication, effective Nov. 13, 2017.
She previously worked at Conner Prairie as the organization’s social media and communications specialist. Prior to her work at Conner Prairie, Kiefer worked as a city watchdog reporter at the Journal & Courier in Lafayette, Ind., and she worked as a news intern at the Chattanooga Times Free Press and a Pulliam Fellow at the Indianapolis Star prior to that.
Kiefer obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University with a concentration in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures, and she obtained her Master of Public Relations from Ball State University.
