‘High Spirits’ event to bring Halloween to T.C. Steele State Historic Site
NASHVILLE, Ind. (Sept. 13, 2018) – On Oct. 13, visitors to T.C. Steele State Historic Site will be able to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, as well as learn about the supernatural during a first-time, Halloween-inspired event.
Attendees will discover how belief in the supernatural and advances in science went hand-in-hand during T.C. Steele’s early years with a fun talk on Victorian Spiritualism by Dr. Anne Delgado of Indiana University. Attendees will also take an after-hours walk through Steele’s home, known as the House of the Singing Winds. Magician and entertainer Richard Darshwood will present a special magic show as a finale for the evening. Visitors will be able to sample a cocktail provided by Heaven Hill Distillery, and light hors d’oeuvres will be served. Seats are limited for this event.

PRICE: Tickets cost $25 for Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites members and $30 for non-members. Reservations are required prior to the event and can be made by calling (812) 988-2785.
