To help protect and preserve Indiana’s archaeological heritage, the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites has developed a CRM curation program that safeguards scientifically collected materials for future generations. Working with state and federal authorities, higher education, and private CRM firms, our institution accepts material from throughout Indiana. As components of the museum’s collection, these materials are available for research and interpretation programs that expand our knowledge of the past.
