Pop Art Grades 9 - 12 From a giant INDIANA to the iconic LOVE, Robert Indiana has made his mark on the art world as well as being a Pop Art icon. Discover the ideas and inspiration behind Pop Art by exploring the work of Robert Indiana and other well known Pop Art artists. Students will then be able to use their new knowledge of consumerism and art based on objects from popular culture to create their own piece of Pop Art that they can take home. By focusing on their chosen object, students will draw attention to something that is not normally viewed as "high art."
