What Is An Artifact? Grades 3 – 12 Ever wonder what a museum really does or curious to know how artifacts find their way to the Indiana State Museum? Students will discover the answer to these questions and so many more. Walk in the shoes of a curator and find out why the story behind an artifact is so important. Students will interact with actual artifacts and specimens and will use the skills they learn to determine what the museum should and should not add to its collection.
